Shipping policies

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine. By placing your order you have represented to Scotto’s Wine Cellar that you are at least 21. All wines delivered must be received by an adult of legal drinking age.

 

We offer 4 shipping options:

  1. Ground Service – approximately 2-5 business days in transit
  2. 2nd Day Air – 2 business days in transit
  3. Next Day Air – 1 business day in transit
  4. Local Delivery to Downtown Brooklyn

 

Shipping Limitations:

 

We do not ship spirits outside the state of New York. Also, many states restrict the shipment of wine. Please accept our apologies if we are unable to ship to your area. We cannot ship to the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Idaho, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin. Shipping Confirmation:

 

An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there is any problem with your order. While we make every effort to show accurate product listings on our website, Scottos Wine Cellar is not responsible for typographical, pricing errors, and omissions. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Costs:

 

Please note that your shipping costs are estimated. Actual costs will be confirmed with you when your order is placed.

 

Refund Policy:

 

All sales are final. If you have questions regarding orders place call 718-875-5530.

 

Larger/Smaller Format Bottles:

 

If bottles are not the traditional, 750ml size, there may be a delay in shipment, or an additional cost for us to source materials to ship your products safely.  We will contact you if this is the case.

 

Extreme Weather:

 

During times of extreme heat or cold we may recommend holding off on shipments to decrease the risk of damage to the wine.  If this is the case, we will contact you. Alternatively, if you would like to delay your shipment due to weather conditions please let us know.
