One of the older Château in Pomerol dating to the 18th century, with its original farmhouse still in use today. This is a big, generous wine, going for smoothness throughout. Coffee aromas and juicy black fruits come first on the nose. The palate has mocha, black raspberry, and ripe dark cherries. Extremely silky, medium-bodied and concentrated with a lingering fruit-forward finish. This has just hit its prime years, and can last years longer. Decant and let breathe, but it doesn’t need hours.
